This luxury outdoor living space is directly above an pool and exercise room, also built by John Sramek Remodeling. To create enough below-ground space, TerraFirma was contracted to lift the house, then some tricky excavation was required.

Solutions for managing humidity had to be built in to the design of the new indoor pool and exercise room, and because they are below ground, a roof membrane was installed to provide waterproofing.

Finally, the patio tiles were installed over the roof membrane and this beautiful outdoor kitchen with fireplace and covered patio was built.
